Classification Of Animal Kingdom & animals Age

Animals are Cellular or multiple cellular Organisms. Multicellular animal are hetrophos. The exact number is yet to be known , about 10 Million animals species are found on earth. They may very in size from no more than a few cells to organisms inhabit the seas, with fever in freshwater and even less on land.
The classification of animals is based on certain specific characteristics, wich are---
(a) Cell aggregate plan--- It is more evolved plan than the cell aggregate plan. The alementary canal has only singal opening which opens outside, This is the opening for ingestion and egestion known as blind sac, e,g.., Coelenterate and flat worms.
(b) Body Symmetry--- It has similarity in arrangements of parts. Absence of any repetition or similarity is called a symmetry. Symmetry is of two types:; Radial and bilateral.
{1} Radial summetry--- The body is cylindrical or discloid where similar part occur all around axis. Any vertical plane passing through the central axis will divide the body into two equal halves e,g., Many sponges Coelenterates and echinodermates. Head is generally absent.
{2} The body has a head. Organs and limbs are paired. They are arranged laterally. Body is divisible into two equal halves by only plane [Mid-sagittal plane]. Bilateral symmetry is found in platyhelmnithes, nematoda, annelida, mollusca arthropoda and chordata.

Introduction:
There are infinite number of organisms see in the world. Some are simple and some multicellular. Their shape , size , structure and behaviour are different. This type of diversity of organisms is called diversity.
Modern Classification of Animals Kingdom:
The scientific classification of animals was firstly conceived by Aristotle on the basis of their some common characteristics and classification entire animals Kingdom into two large group-----
Classification of animals to according to Storer and Usinger:
Animals Kingdom of the world is divided into two subkingdom; (i) Unicellular animals and (ii) Multicellular animals.
Unicellular animals: are kept in a single phylum protozoa whereas.
Multicellular animals: are divided into 9 phylums. In this way , the total phyllums are 10.
(a) Viviparous-----Under this group offspring of reproductive animals like mammalia group (human, dog, horse, cow, elephant etc;) Had been kept. But later in seventeenth century (1693) firstly John Rey defined the animals species and on the basis of natural structure related he classified the entire species. Also in 1735 Carolus Linnaeus explained about 4236 species in his book 'Systema Naturae' .
1. Phylum : Protozoa
Under the sub-kingdom protozoa unicellular animals have been kept. The phylum protozoa has microscopic , unicellular animals and protozoa is the most primitive and the most simple animals on the Earth's surface.
Nearly 30,000 species of this phyllum have been observed updately and the Zoological Goldfus called such species protozoa in 1990.
Salient Features :
(i) It's body is made of only one cell.
(ii) There is one or more unclei in its cytoplasm.
(iii) There are extremely small (0.001mm ---5mm) unicellular animals.
(iv) These animals are autotrophic , symbiotic or multicellularic.
(v) The animals of these phylum are unicentric or multicellularic.
(vi) In the unicellular bodies of the animals of this phyllum , vac and contractive vacuoles are be found.
Example :
There are various examples of protozoaic phylum like Amoeba , Entamoeba histolytic , E. Coli, E, Gingivalis, Trypanosoma gambiense, Leishmannia Donovani, Plasmodium , Paramecium caudatum, Euglena etc. Powered by The Medical Time

2. Phylum : Porifera

The world Porifera means----(pore = pore, ferre = to bear). Under the sub-kingdom porifera the corresponding animals are called sponge and their shape are either spherical or have no any definite shape. In 1825 R.E. Grant studies about the taxonomy and called the group of animals as prorifera. All the animals to this kingdom are multicellular.

Silent Features:
(i) All the animals of the group are found in marine water & bear pores body.
(ii) They are multicellular , radially symmetrical or asymmetrical organisms exhibiting a cellular level of organisms.
(iii) Body is made up of two germ layers , I e., They are diploblastic.
(iv) The skeleton of sponges is formed of needle - like structure known as spicules.
(v) These multicellular but cells do not make regular tissue.
(vi) Numerous pores know as ostia found on body wall.
Memorable Facts Euglena which is a unique living being has the characteristics of both plant and Animals and it is called green protozoa.                                                      The Zoological John Rey who propounded and adopted Binomial Nomenclature of the varius species of animals is called the Father of Modern Taxonomy.                                            Ordinarily Euplectella is called the Venus ' flower basket.                                                  • The substance sponging is a collagen-like protein , while the commercial sponge is only the porous skeleton.

The word arthropoda means . The phylum arthropoda is the Largest in the animals Kingdom. It includes the classes Arachnida , Crustace , Myriapoda , Inspect etc . This kingdom was firstly established by Bon Sibolde.
